Our Give Thanks locations are a collection of spaces that have been donated to Give Hope for additional foster and adoptive families to use. Similarly to our Give Hope RVs these locations ARE providing a unit for your family to use. These units can be, but are not limited to :: Platform Tents, RVs, Cabins, park models…
Each unit and campground does provide different amenities. The campground itself will be responsible for answering any questions you may have about the unit itself.
Location :: Lake Michigan Family Campground 5807 Ridge Rd, Pentwater, MI 49449
Donation ::
They have generously donated ::
20 - 4 night weekday or 2 night weekend stays in a platform tents to be used in the 2024 camping season.
*The time available in the platform tents will be dispersed with the rest of the affiliate campground certificates in the store.
Lake Michigan Family Campground has partnered with Give Hope for the third year in a row. These spaces will be distributed through our general Give Hope RV lottery.
Wes Point Shores
Wes Point Shores is located in Alpina, Michigan.
You will be hosted in a 3 -bedroom cabin.
Donation :: Wes Point Shores has donated 2 different stay times. One 5-night stay in May and one weeklong stay in September.
Amenities :: The cabins are supplied with bed linens, kitchen wares and have a fridge, microwave, oven and coffeemaker. Thew do not supply bath towels or toiletries.
Outdoor Adventures is partnering with Give Hope for the 2nd year in a row. They have donated three camping options to our families at two of their Michigan locations - Kalamazoo and Saginaw Bay.
Location :: Saginaw Bay, 4738 Foco Road
Standish, MI 48658.
Donation :: Outdoor Adventures has donated five 3-night mid-week stays (one 3-night stay per month, May - September) in a park model unit.
Amenities:
• 3 bedrooms
• Sleeps 6 people max (1 queen bed and 2 full beds –Jack and Jill style) • Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower
• Central air, TV, frigid, stove/oven, microwave
• Units have toaster, coffee pot, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, firepit and picnic table
Kalamazoo Resort is a part of the Outdoor Adventures franchise.
Donation :: five 3-night mid-week stays, one 3-night stay per month, May - September, in a park model unit AND five 2-night weekend stays, one per month, May-September. These stays will be hosted in a park model.
Park model amenities:
• 3 bedrooms
• Sleeps 6 people max: Bedrooms vary (1 queen bed and 2 full beds – Jack and Jill style) • Bathroom with toilet, sink and shower
• Central air, TV (USB Port, no cable), frigid, stove/oven, microwave
• Units have toaster, coffee pot, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, firepit and picnic table
Grey Wolf RV Camping ::
Donation :: five 3-night mid-week stays, one 3-night stay per month, May - September, in an RV.
Amenities:
• Sleeps 3-5 people (Queen Bed, full-size bunk beds, dinette folds down into a full size bed) • Bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower
• Air-conditioning, TV (no DVD or Cable) stove/oven, fridge, microwave,
• Pots & pans, cups, silverware, dishes, toaster, coffee maker, fire pit, picnic table
:: TEXAS LOCATION ::
Tres Rios RV Park is located in Glen Rose, Texas, and is a part of Ocean Canyon Resorts. This is their first year partnering with Give Hope and I’m SO EXCITED! They have generously donated ::
10* cabin stays this 2025 camping season.
*These cabin certificates will be used in collaboration with Mountain Lakes RV Resort in Langston, Alabama certificates. We have 10 in total.
We are still working to find out if these will be generic certificates or date specific. Information will be posted as soon as possible.
:: ALABAMA LOCATION ::
Mountain Lakes RV Resort is located in Langston, Alabama, and is a part of Ocean Canyon Resorts. This is their first year partnering with Give Hope and I’m SO EXCITED! They have generously donated ::
